Cabinet Looking Tired

Check out this project.
This early 90’s bookshelf – built-in cabinet was looking tired.

The customer wanted us to paint it white to give it an updated look.

All the Shelves Off

Castle Complements Painting took all the shelves off, drawers out and the doors.

Next, we masked the opening where the doors and drawers were.

Spray Time!

After a thorough sanding and cleaning the unit was sprayed with a bonding primer.

Caulking and Filling

After the primer was sprayed in the bookshelf all the cracks were caulked and holes were filled.

Everything was sanded again then a finish coat was applied by sprayer also.

Look Fantastic!

A second finish coat was applied and everything was left to dry before reassembling the doors and shelves.

The bookshelves cabinet look fantastic with a fresh coat of white paint!
